  • Well-written and compelling copy for marketing or communication materials; examples include a brochure, one-pager/fact sheet, or fundraising/promotional materials
  • Messaging that is consistent with brand identity, public relations strategy and communications objectives
Additional Details

I need a special brochure for our newly created $25,000 perpetual scholarship initiative. The brochure needs to discuss the benefits of creating a Tuskegee Airmen legacy through this scholarship initiative.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have photos and some initial copy, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have eblast that announced the initiative, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help

The perpetual scholarship initiative seeks to receive $25,000 major gifts from our membership. It will enable the foundation to expand the number of scholarships given annually, now at 40.

Project Plan

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides examples of existing communications and marketing materials such as links to website and social media, brochures, and other collateral
  • Volunteer Manager provides brand messaging guide and marketing strategy (if applicable)
  • Volunteer Manager communicates initial concept for deliverables to be created
Milestone 1: Information Gathering
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional connect to discuss goals of copywriting deliverables, target audience, and desired style and tone of writing
Milestone 2: First Draft
  • Professional shares first drafts of copy with Volunteer Manager for feedback with respect to style, tone, clarity, and length
Milestone 3: Finalize Copy
  • Professional incorporates feedback and submits final copy for review

The mission of the Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Foundation is to provide motivation, vocational access, and scholarships to financially and academically deserving students seeking careers in aviation, aerospace, STEM and beyond.

What We Do

Provide 40 $1,500 scholarships annually to high-performing low-income underserved students across the nation. Working with some 30+ chapters in the US and Virgin Islands, the foundation seeks the best and brightest students seeking careers in aviation, aerospace, STEM and beyond.
