Project details

What we need
  • Thorough review of the existing communication and marketing materials to ensure writing is understandable, engaging and consistent
  • Edits conducted with respect to writing style, voice, length, and proper spelling and grammar
  • Revised materials should adhere to branding, communications and marketing goals
Additional details

We are looking to do an audit of communications materials that we present to current and prospective donors, such as our donor packet, donor outreach letters, and Quarter and Annual reports. We would like feedback on how we can improve our donor communications and engagement and better appeal to new donors, leading to more support for our organization.

What we have in place
  • We currently have materials that we present to prospective donors, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have materials that we present to current donors, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,034 , allowing us to better articulate the value and impact of our organization in order to attract new donors and engage/maintain current donors, so we can continue serving 30,000 underserved students annually.

ALL students deserve the opportunity to be taught by qualified teachers who can prepare them for college and careers in the 21st century. EnCorps has recruited, selected and supported 900+ STEM professionals/retirees making the transition to credentialed K-12 teaching. EnCorps partners with high-poverty, high-minority schools in CA to place STEM experts as math, science and career-technical education teachers. We seek new supporters to further develop the pipeline of qualified STEM teachers.

Our mission

We are STEM professionals providing high quality education to close achievement gaps for student in low income communities.

Our vision is that all students, regardless of socioeconomic status, have a strong STEM foundation to help them navigate and be successful in an increasingly complex world.

What we do

Enduring STEM achievement gaps continue to disproportionately limit opportunities for low income students and students of color. STEM professionals are uniquely positioned to utilize their real-world expertise to deliver an authentic and relevant education to the students who can benefit most.

The EnCorps STEM Teachers Fellowship recruits, prepares and supports career-changing and retiring STEM professionals, as an innovative, long-term solution to the shortage of high quality, impactful educators for under-resourced students in high need communities.

EnCorps has recruited, selected and supported 1300+ STEM professionals making the transition to K-12 teaching and impacts 35,000+ underserved students annually. EnCorps partners with public schools and charter management organizations to place STEM experts as guest teachers and full-time credentialed instructions in math, science and Career and Technical Education (CTE) subjects.

In recognition of our impact on students and the educational system at large, EnCorps received the US2020 STEM Mentoring Award (2016), the Carl and Roberta Deutsch Foundation HALO Award (2018), and the US 2020 Excellence in Public/Private Partnership (2019). In recognition of our unique approach and innovative work, we have received the Annenberg Challenge for Innovation in Technology Award (2017), and the Silicon Valley Education Foundation STEM Innovation Award (2017), and was a Semifinalist for the Drucker Prize (2018), which recognizes nonprofit innovation.

Communication Materials Audit Project

Working with Grace at EnCorps was a pleasure. She had the materials for the communications audit well organized and defined what kind of feedback she needed; which made it easy to get up and running on the project. I'm impressed with what EnCorps has already accomplished and based on my experience working with Grace and the quality of the content she provided for the project, I expect the organization will continue to advance and do great things.
