What we need
  • A script for a 1-2 minute verbal pitch that communicates the mission and vision of the Organization, the work the Organization does, and why people should care
  • Advice on pitch delivery and effective communication

Our Board has requested development of an elevator pitch that succinctly articulates the urgency of our work and mission, the population we serve, and our value to the community. Our programs address a range of needs among vulnerable, at-risk youth which can make it difficult to succinctly articulate these points. Additionally, because we deal with difficult issues which many do not care to discuss--child sexual abuse, juvenile delinquency--we must be sensitive in our messaging and delivery.

What we have in place
  • We currently have brochures, website, 34 years of experience, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have mission and vision statements, program outcomes, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to invest in other areas of board development and training.

This project will enable our Board of Trustees to effectively connect with community leaders around PEI Kids' mission and value to the communities we serve. This will support board recruitment, fundraising, corporate sponsorship and donor development.
