Project details

What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

The Village Method has been operating for five years in the community providing youth development, family engagement and community outreach programming. We've never created stories, case studies, and truly marketed our success. We need to do this - badly. We have a ton of pictures. What we is to refine our founding story, create a series of short (3-5 sentence) story clips for social media, feature stories for our programs, and a summary of how far we've come since 2014 (our founding).

What we have in place
  • We currently have stories to tell and pix to share, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a youtube channel with tons of videos, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to fill in the gap in loss funding from what the school district is no longer supporting.

Refining our messaging and telling a compelling story will help us to expand our services, attract new funders, and maintain the investors that we currently have. As the economy is on decline, our primary client - school districts - have lost much of the funding. Consequently, we need to be more creative with how we communicate our message and programming to a wider audience.

Testimonials

Steven is well beyond the average professional. It was such a pleasure working with him. He was attentive thoughtful, fully engaged in our needs and he was listening deeply for the soul of our message. We were very blessed to have him create our Founders Story and add a Core Messaging platform for us to use in several other cases. Thank you Steven!
