Mobile App Prototyping (Android)

Project details

What we need
  • A proof-of-concept Android app prototype
  • Documentation of the functionality and how users will use the new app
  • Consultation on how to publish and maintain the app, as well as resources for finding assistance moving forward

  • Note: The Mobile app will be a functional prototype but will not be production ready with full user experience (i.e. visual design, animation, etc). Here are some examples of mobile app prototypes: Real Change, SF Trees.

Additional details

We are about to end the development phase for our mobile and web-based app. We are looking for consultation around the maintenance phase and how to recruit beta testers, along with a one-year app improvement plan.

What we have in place
  • We currently have The application developed and launched in both app stores, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a web-based prototype and back-end login credentials, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $14,612 , allowing us to invest more in direct community service. We are a non-endowed community foundation that provides support to non-profits. All money saved goes directly to the community through grants.

Latino Force, the app name, will be used to engage, connect and build a strong digital space for Latino across Colorado.

Our mission

LCFC's mission is to work hand in hand with our diverse communities to create culturally responsive strategies that build influence, equity and opportunity for all Latino Coloradans.

What we do

Only once the Latino Community Foundation of Colorado has engaged with our Mission, Vision and Values, can we begin to do the work hand in hand with Latino Coloradans. LCFC then builds on the influence and power of Latino communities throughout Colorado -- from west of the Rocky Mountains and south of Pueblo, to the north of Fort Collins and throughout the Great Plains. We do this by investing in civic and economic development opportunities and community health and wellness and by elevating the existing work of individual leaders, nonprofit institutions, and regional communities.

LCFC staff meet with people, organizations and communities to learn about local strengths as well as challenges and discuss innovative solutions to overcome them. This engagement helps us design community-based efforts that connect authentically with communities on the front line and drive positive outcomes for Latinos in the state. These community-based efforts include capacity-building partnerships, culturally-authentic philanthropy, and relationship-forward connections that elevate local Latino communities and safeguard their wellbeing.
