Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
We currently have a Wordpress site and have a lot of great content to share that need support in displaying in a beautiful, compelling way. We're interested in re-designing the site completely.
What we have in place
- We currently have an active domain name, website host, and Wordpress account, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an understanding of the goals/audience, and dedicated staff, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to focus resources on serving individuals who have been impacted by violence and the criminal justice system, and supporting the organizations and agencies that serve these individuals.
NICJR is a leader in the criminal justice reform and violence prevention space, but due to its small staff size has not been able to prioritize website development and design. This project will help NICJR share its important work, which includes reports on the impact of gun violence and violence reduction strategies, trainings on positive youth development to law enforcement and community-based organizations, and leadership development to social justice advocates, to expand our impact and reach.
