What we need
  • A document outlining the best outreach and networking strategies to meet specific business development and/or partnership goals
  • Recommendations on tailored prospecting and outreach methods, including specific messaging
  • One-on-one coaching sessions to refine talking points and key messages
What we have in place
  • We currently have a clear goal for our organization's partnership, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a Collective of indigenous resource managers and stewards, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,060 , allowing us to support grassroots community stewardship efforts.

The success of our organization depends on the leveraging of community partnerships. Without your help, we cannot strategicially network to support community action. Your skills will empower us to build and sustain relationships with community partners.

  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss current business development and partnership outreach methods, share relevant materials (email copy, phone scripts, pitch decks, etc.) and articulate challenges
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional focus on specific improvement areas and Organizational goals

Milestone 1: Analysis and Recommendations
  • Professional analyzes information gathered, current strategy, and challenges
  • Professional provides one-on-one coaching to refine talking points and key messages

Our mission

To grow Hawai'i's communities through culturally based dimensions of innovative learning, leadership development and collaborative networking in wahi kupuna stewardship.

What we do

We are a Native Hawaiian non-profit organization which seeks to educate haumana and communities on the appropriate stewardship of wahi kupuna. Huliauapa'a members, including resource managers, researchers, educators, cultural practitioners, and students, share a unifying commitment and belief: to protect, preserve, and perpetuate Hawai'i's cultural and natural resources through educational opportunities, community outreach, and advocacy. Our organization is intent on transforming Cultural Resource Management (CRM) in Hawai'i, by integrating 'Oiwi perspectives into our every-day operations and activities and striving to give Hawaiians and kama'aina a voice and a meaningful role in managing our own resources.
