Networking Coaching
Networking Coaching
Project details
What we need
- A document outlining the best outreach and networking strategies to meet specific business development and/or partnership goals
- Recommendations on tailored prospecting and outreach methods, including specific messaging
- One-on-one coaching sessions to refine talking points and key messages
What we have in place
- We currently have a dedicated staff and supporter community, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have extensive reach on social media and email lists and through our board members, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,060 , allowing us to reach new audiences to ensure that South Asian American voices are part of our understanding of America's past, present, and future.
For the last ten years, SAADA has enabled academics, artists, journalists, students, and community members to write books, create new content, and shape public understanding about the South Asian American community.
We have a small dedicated network of supporters and donors, but now we want to build our reach and want more people to be engaged with our work. The kinds of questions we want to address are how to identify potential supporters, how to connect with them, how to keep track of them, and how to engage them on an ongoing basis.
Project plan
Our mission
SAADA creates a more inclusive society by giving voice to South Asian Americans through documenting, preserving, and sharing stories that represent their unique and diverse experiences.
What we do
SAADA's collection of more than 3,100 items is the largest publicly accessible South Asian American archive. Used widely by scholars, students, journalists, artists, and community members, the archive includes rare photographs, letters, newspaper clippings, oral history interviews, videos, and other materials. SAADA's website has received 617,565 visitors in the last 4 years. Further, through digital storytelling initiatives such as our First Days Project (sharing stories from immigrants and refugees about their arrival in the U.S.) and Road Trips Project (sharing stories of travel to reframe an American tradition), SAADA reimagines the potential of community archives in the digital era.
