Project details

What we need
  • Document that articulates in a consistent voice key messages about the Organization’s identity, constituents, mission, and vision
  • Creation of taglines and talking points to help the Organization communicate clearly and concisely
  • Recommendations on tailoring messaging for common communication channels (e.g., website copy, printed marketing collateral, pitching verbally)
What we have in place
  • We currently have a mission and vision statement, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have our strategic plan summary, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,600 , allowing us to continue providing funding for our programs.

The success of our organization depends on funding from donors, corporations, and foundations. Without your help, we cannot effectively communicate our new strategic plan. Your skills will empower us to increase donors and serve more people.

Our mission

Wardrobe for Opportunity works in partnership with the community to assist low-income professionals in their efforts to Find a Job, Keep a Job and Build a Career.

What we do

What makes WFO distinct in the workforce development arena is our focus on helping people get out of the old, 'find a job - any job' game. We know that most people are extremely hardworking and will thrive when they have access to living wage jobs and the tools to navigate up in the workplace. We want to see poverty end, so we avoid the common mistake of assuming that people living in poverty create the problem. We understand that poverty is both structural and personal.

So, we offer clients a comprehensive professional package that begins with professional attire, moves through to introductions to the Bay Area's top employers, and goes on to long-term career strategy training and coaching.

90% of clients to complete our full program report a high rate of economic self-sufficiency 3 years out.

Poverty can end. You can help.

Testimonials

Craig was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was understanding of our needs and very knowledgeable about brand messaging. He was easy to work with and has superb communication skills which was great since we were on two different time zones. Craig is very responsive and submits work in a timely matter with great notes and feedback. We would love to work with Craig again in the future and highly recommend him to other organizations.

Brand Messaging Project

LeAnne was great to work with! She and her team at Wardrobe for Opportunity were organized and had excellent, realistic goals for what the organization needed for its messaging moving forward. Their feedback and responses were helpful and timely, and I believe our collaboration on this project will benefit the aspiring professionals WFO serves. I would definitely be open to working with LeAnne and WFO on future projects!
