Compensation Plan
Compensation Plan
Project details
What we need
- Review of job descriptions, pay structure, internal value, competitive market data, non-monetary rewards and benefits
- Recommendations for updating staff compensation and incentive plans
What we have in place
- We currently have a solid leadership team and board, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have detailed personnel records, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,314 , allowing us to focus on the core work of our mission.
We are looking to create a standardized compensation plan which allows us to assess how well aligned our salaries are to the staff positions. We would also like to create a position scaffold and performance review process which provides incentives for staff to improve in their current positions and gives them a path forward to grow with the organization.

Our mission
YPP uses Math Literacy Work to develop the abilities of elementary through high school students to succeed in school and in life, and in doing so involves them in efforts to eliminate institutional obstacles to their success.
What we do
Founded in 1996, by a group that included 8 eighth grade students from Brinkley Middle School in Jackson, Mississippi, it is YPP’s goal to train, employ and support 1000 high school students to become Great Math Literacy Workers (MLWs) over the next 10 years through partnerships with local organizations, schools and institutions. Great MLWs begin by teaching math to elementary students in their neighborhoods and become engaged citizens prepared to make a difference in their own lives and in their communities.
Testimonials
(No testimonial has been submitted by Chad)
I, unfortunately, found it very challenging to work with the Young People's Project. After 3 months of trying, we were never able to schedule a follow-up call. So, the work has been provided just based on some information shared via email and the initial discussion.
