Project details

What we need
  • A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
What we have in place
  • We currently have a strategic plan, videos, and updated donor data/profiles, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have an active development committee, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to provide a tech coach in a 6th grade classroom for one trimester.

The 16 schools of the Redwood City School District are down the street from the world's largest tech community, however, students from our district are underrepresented in the tech industry. We want our Giving Tuesday appeal to help grow our Equity Fund so we can upgrade our classrooms to Next Generation Science Standards. When we raise $69,764 all 2,900 middle school students will have the science supplies they need to get ready for high school.
