Project details

What we need
  • Written copy for an email fundraising series (up to four emails), or significant edits to an existing campaign
  • Directions on how to send the campaign in an established email marketing service, such as: Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact, etc.
  • Training on how to successfully update, send, and monitor the campaign
What we have in place
  • We currently have mission, vision, and amazing staff, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have previous year's materials to view, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,140 , allowing us to help more clients.

We're planning a campaign around Georgia Gives Day and #GivingTuesday and we need your help! Our team has previously done all of the writing and planning for this campaign in-house but we need a writer to help build and clarify our message. This year our goal is to bring in new donors and your fresh eyes on our language and materials could make all the difference in building a more sustainable organization!

Our mission

Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network (GAIN)'s mission is to to provide free immigration legal services to victims of crime and persecution. Our vision is safety, freedom, and opportunity for all.

What we do

Since its inception in 2005, Georgia Asylum & Immigration Network (GAIN) has served Georgia's vulnerable immigrant community with pro bono legal representation.

GAIN attorneys train and mentor volunteer attorneys, screen cases, and offer technical assistance in immigration matters, while taking on a small percentage of our cases, usually with complex needs, through direct representation. Our impact has grown over time as we expanded the Asylum program's successful model of training and mentoring volunteer attorneys to create the Victims of Violence program for victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes.

Since 2005, through direct representation and pro bono referrals, GAIN has helped over 6,600 women, men, and children secure immigration status as a result of a prior victimization or fear of persecution.
