Event Photography
Project details
What we need
- A photographer who will attend the Organization's event to take photos
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a digital format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- The Catchafire photographer will have access to all areas of the warehouse and we can schedule ride-alongs with volunteers as they deliver food boxes in order to capture the volunteer-recipient moment of connection.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to purchase 280 boxes of food our volunteers will deliver to the needs in our community.
We are seeking professional photos to use for print and digital marketing communications. Once a month on a Sunday morning, between 700-1,200 volunteers visit the JRA warehouse, pack boxes of food and deliver them to the needy in our community. We have volunteer photographers capture moments for Facebook, but we're seeking a professional to help capture the spirit, energy, and emotion of the volunteer experience.

Our mission
Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) serves over 6,000 diverse low-income individuals across Greater Philadelphia by relieving hunger, improving lives, and strengthening our community.
What we do
Jewish Relief Agency (JRA) was founded in 2000 with three volunteers and one van, delivering food to 19 households in need. With a network of 10,000 volunteers built over 16 18 years, JRA provides food and support to approximately 3,200 low-income households in the Greater Philadelphia region. As a trusted provider of food and supportive services, JRA reaches many of Philadelphia's most vulnerable, and often isolated, individuals and families. JRA aims to ease the everyday burdens of poverty for our recipients, helping them achieve food security and move toward self-sufficiency.
JRA's work is fueled by our volunteers who serve those in need by packing and delivering boxes of food, giving seniors and the disabled rides to the doctor and grocery store, making friendly visits to isolated members of the community, and so much more. All of our volunteers, who come from many backgrounds, faiths, ages, and abilities, are united by a commitment to helping those in need. Through community service, JRA nourishes body and soul.
