Event Photography
Project details
What we need
- A photographer who will attend the Organization's event to take photos
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in a digital format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- We can help you get to the venue, and provide you with any additional information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,998 , allowing us to concentrate more funds on our projects.
On October 11th, from 5 to 9pm, at the Glen View Club in Golf, IL, we're throwing a gala to raise funds for our upcoming year of projects (we've got a lot of them! Learn more on our website). The keynote speaker is George Archibald, founder of the International Crane Foundation, a longtime ally of TWI. We need a photographer to help us capture this event so we can follow up with attendees, continue to grow our funder base, and share our work with the public.
Project plan
Our mission
The Wetlands Initiative designs, restores, and creates wetlands. We innovate, collaborate, and employ sound science to improve water quality, habitat for plants and wildlife, and our climate.
What we do
We work to restore and protect damaged and vulnerable ecosystems in Illinois and Indiana, with a focus on wetlands. Our diverse projects include restoring post-industrial sites such as Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie near Joliet, Illinois, and Indian Ridge Marsh in Chicago's Calumet region; returning agricultural land to native habitats, including our own Dixon Waterfowl Refuge along the Illinois River; and helping Illinois farmers reduce nutrient pollution by installing constructed wetlands on their cropland.
