What we need
  • A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
What we have in place
  • We currently have a map and photos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a clear concept of the deliverable, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to engage potential sponsors and community volunteers so that we can give back to urban streams, rivers, and the Ocean for years to come!

The deliverable (an illustrated map of Periwinkle Creek in Albany, Oregon) will help us to engage the local community in stewardship activities (tree planting/watering) and increase awareness about an urban stream in Albany.

  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional existing branding or marketing materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with relevant background information on the Organization, mission, and core values

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager meet to discuss goals, target audience, and how the illustration will be utilized
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align expectations for the initial drawings and agree upon a timeline

Milestone 2: Preliminary Sketching
  • Professional drafts and presents three concepts for the Organization’s illustration
  • Volunteer Manager chooses a favorite concept and provides up to two rounds of feedback, which the Professional uses to refine the Illustration

Milestone 3: Presentation of Deliverables
  • Professional delivers a final version of the Illustration in digital form

Our mission

Ocean Blue Project is a grassroots environmental charitable organization with a Mission to protect the health of humans, our One World Ocean, beaches, and rivers through collaborative community driven plastic pollution relief, service learning projects, scientific research, and youth education.

What we do

Ocean Blue Project is an authentic grassroots nonprofit on a mission to clean the ocean. Our goal is to rehabilitate and conserve the world's waterways, which will allow for healthier human and wildlife communities. We dive into plastic recovery projects that protect people from cancers and disease and engage communities in pollution relief, river restoration, and youth education programs that encourage intentional stewardship of the earth and wildlife.
