Project details

What we need
  • A Public Relations (PR) strategy rooted in the Organization's public relations goals
  • Identification of the audiences Organization should be addressing and the media outlets they should target to reach stated audiences
  • A press list created based on Organization's target media outlets
  • Recommendations on the best tactics to build relationships with Organization's target media outlets
What we have in place
  • We currently have branding standards, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have modest social media profiles and a strong website, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,343 , allowing us to generate interest from the communities we serve and help schools and districts see the value we bring to the classroom. We'll be better using our time and skills.

We are re-shaping our messaging strategy to align with strategic priorities. Much of our branding and general messaging comes from our national organization but we need to do a better job at promoting local initiatives and connecting with the local communities, both where we currently serve and where we'd like to serve more. As the Development Director and chief development office for our office I have a background in fundraising, not public relations. I would like help putting the necessary tools together to create a strategy and execution plan that I can then implement.
