What we need
- A Salesforce database including: a customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data and field history tracking (up to 15 object types), a customized set of views to allow table-based editing of data (up to 15 views), a customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
- Migration of Organization's current database to Salesforce
- Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
- “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code
Additional details
Would prefer to work with a volunteer in the San Jose/San Francisco Bay Area. Also, we would prefer the volunteer to have experience working with data for a nonprofit, since our needs are very different than those of a for-profit company. These are not "must have" requirements.
What we have in place
- We have a list of fields to be created (MCM fields will need to be defined and added). We have a file with MCM names. Staff person had many years of experience managing many types of databases. We have a list of updates/changes/additions to be made. Our database is small, so it will be easier to make updates. And, most importantly, we have a positive attitude and can't wait to fully utilize Salesforce!
How this will help
This project will save us $22,852 , allowing us to Customize Salesforce - which will help us raise needed funds provide improved stewardship and cultivation of donors/prospect, and allow us to run vital reports.
CreaTV utilizes MCM and Salesforce Our members are in MCM and our donors are in Salesforce We want to create header record import all of the members into Salesforce In addition we need: 1) Data cleanup with recommendations for further action 2) Reports that provide detailed information like ID donor campaign appeal amt gift type gift date ROI, etc.; 3) Creation of new fields that will further define donor and donation 4) Membership fields from MCM 5) Custom views for Development Director 6) Change of field names to more closely align with nonprofit data 7) Documentation on all changes/additions/processes
