Event Publicity Plan
Event Publicity Plan
Project details
What we need
- An event publicity plan for promoting an upcoming event, and/or securing coverage of the event itself
- A press release (who, what, why, when, where) about the event to send out to media contacts
- A list of key media contacts to reach out to about the event, and/or invite to the event
- Detailed instructions on how and when to reach out to media
- Social media posts (twitter, instagram, facebook) to complement media outreach, if applicable
- Note: This project does not necessarily include on-site event attendance by the Professional, or on-site media check-in or management at the event. This may be requested or offered, but will depend on the Professional's location and availability.
What we have in place
- We currently have a budget, sponsorship deck, advertisement, attendance goal, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have 1,131 FB Likes, 1,368 Twitter followers, & a working list of Milwaukee press contacts, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,262 , allowing us to direct funds to natural lawn care engagement and work in 2019 for Milwaukee.
On Monday, October 29th, MGG will bring its innovative MGG Lawn & Land Forum Workshop to Milwaukee that fosters peer-to-peer learning of best Integrated Pest Management and natural lawn care practices, policies, and strategies (see bit.ly/MGGforum). MPAC expects more than 60 park and school district staff, municipal policymakers, and other large turf managers to attend the workshop. Our organization wishes to leverage the high interest and attendance at this workshop to further advance the MGG initiative in Milwaukee through networking/fundraising event that invites both workshop attendees and Milwaukee community members and activists.
