Project details

What we need
  • Designs for one piece of marketing or communications collateral (e.g., fact sheet, case study, event invitations)
  • Templates with accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: Please post an additional project if more than one piece of collateral is needed
What we have in place
  • The deliverables needed include: flyer, coin can, save-the-date template, one-sheeter templates, fundraising guide cover templates, infographic, print ads.

We have examples of all of these deliverables from 2018 and from other past years to use as a starting point. However, this is not a nationally supported event so we have always used a combination of ACS resources, our own design skills and volunteers to create these materials. This year, we are hoping for one person to come up with a branding idea and execute a consistent design across all deliverables.

We also have ACS branding guidelines you can reference.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to This project will save us $5,000. This could provide 250 people with free information and access to support through our 24/7 cancer information center.

Walk & Roll is the longest-running cancer fundraiser in Illinois. Since 1971 people from all over Chicagoland have gathered for Walk & Roll to support the American Cancer Society. This family-friendly, one-of-a-kind event offers participants of all skill levels the opportunity to walk or run 5K, skate 10K or bike 15k to raise funds and help save lives from all cancers.

This event has been around for many years and we need branding assistance to push it to the next level, stay relevant, and be competitive in order to bring in new donors and participants.

Our mission

The American Cancer Society's mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

What we do

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Our Global Headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia, and we have regional and local offices throughout the country to ensure we have a presence in every community.

While most people know us for our research, we do so much more. We attack cancer from every angle. We promote healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. We research cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. We fight for lifesaving policy changes. We provide everything from emotional support to the latest cancer information for those who have been touched by cancer. And we do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
