Project details

What we need
  • Setup and implementation of Google Workspace account and specific apps
  • Training for up to 5 staff on how to configure and use Google's apps
  • Note: Google Apps for Nonprofits (Google Workspace) is free for qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and includes 30GB of storage across Gmail and Google Drive
Additional details

-Create or find a simple how-to use Google Drive training for our volunteers
- Consult on best way to use Google calendar(s) across the organization
- Consult on any additional tech improvements offered through Google suites.

What we have in place
  • We currently have acquired Google for Nonprofits, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have 2 staff collective members willing to get answers and work with you, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,296 , allowing us to spend more time educating and organizing people to take climate action.

350 Seattle is a grassroots, volunteer-led organization that takes action to address climate change. We were one of the lead organizations in the ShellNo Action Coalition, which trained hundreds of kayaktivists to face Shell's arctic drilling rig in a David vs. Goliath moment for the movement. We have grown quickly and need to improve our internal systems.

Google drive will help our distributed leadership team become better connected. It will tighten our internal systems by having better cloud storage.

Our mission

350 Seattle works toward climate justice by organizing people to make deep system change: resisting fossil fuels; building momentum for healthy alternatives; and fostering resilient, just, and welcoming communities

What we do

Hearings and meetings and legislation and letters? We do that. Protests and blockades? We do that, too....and how. We believe our most important task is building and inspiring the movement, because only a movement can bring about the profound change we need, as quickly as we need it to.

Testimonials

Todd was amazing to work with. Our schedule changed a couple times and he was was very flexible with us. Todd explained everything to us in a way we could understand, and transitioned our Google Suite to the G'suite for Nonprofits, and supported us as we had some minor troubleshooting afterwards.
