What we'd like to talk about
I'd like to brainstorm ideas for expanding our education programs to a building in or near east or west Fairmount Park. We are looking to lease an affordable space that meets our needs.
Additional context
We need at least 1,000 square feet, but more would be better. The building needs to be accessible for bicycles to come in and out and for bicycle storage. We need classroom / hangout space for youth as well. Location is key for us. In or near Fairmount Park is ideal (Parkside, Strawberry Mansion, near the Schuylkill River Trail). We have explored possibilities of properties with the City's Parks and Recs dept. and the Fairmount Parks Conservancy, but those properties either will not allow bikes inside or they require a lot of capital investment to be renovated.
