Social Media Plan
Social Media Plan
Project details
What we need
- A document outlining the most appropriate social media channels, strategies for usage, goals and key metrics to evaluate success
- Expert consultation on messaging, scheduling and frequency
- Tailored suggestions for style, tone, and types of content to best showcase the Organization
Additional details
In terms of actual messaging, it would be wonderful to have a skilled marketer/writer who could help create an end product of: A set of 50 posts that could be routinely used throughout the year in our messaging to encourage membership and/or giving.
What we have in place
- We have multiple social media channels: FB (for our local site, our national site, & our Jefferson Dinners project), Twitter (local, national, & Jefferson Dinner), & Instagram (local & Jefferson Dinner only).
For this project, we would first be focusing on the local sites for FB, Twitter, & IG. We currently utilize HootSuite & have a way too complicated Social Media plan that we haven't been able to implement - which goes back to our need for evergreen messaging we can rotate out. We need help creating that messaging to determine what is "social media worthy."
How this will help
This project will save us $6,632 , allowing us to continue providing free programming open to the public that help bridge racial, political, & religious division. #ReviveCivility.
Like every nonprofit storytelling is a critical part of our operation. We are membership-based & need our social media efforts to tell our story in a way that builds membership (or at least a social media following). We work towards building community through civility programming & over 90% of our events our free. We want people to value what we do (especially in such difficult times) & need help conveying that with "evergreen" messaging. If you check out our website you'll see that we are edgy & quirky. We believe in having fun.
