Project details

What we need
  • A Public Relations (PR) strategy rooted in the Organization's public relations goals
  • Identification of the audiences Organization should be addressing and the media outlets they should target to reach stated audiences
  • A press list created based on Organization's target media outlets
  • Recommendations on the best tactics to build relationships with Organization's target media outlets
What we have in place
  • We currently have a kit with BSP messaging, talking points, and past recognitions. We also have a small list of press contacts.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,343 , allowing us to reach more of the janitorial workforce and their families to help them advance in their careers and achieve stability.

A Public Relations strategy will help Building Skills Partnership achieve greater brand awareness and increase visibility highlighting the impact of our work and the partnerships who make it possible. A PR strategy will help us consolidate and make strategic decisions about the best ways to communicate stories on the ground.

Our mission

Building Skills Partnership (BSP) programs improve the quality of life of property service workers in low-wage industries, as well as their families and communities, by increasing their access to education, leadership, and career advancement.

What we do

BSP offers programs throughout California, serving Los Angeles, Mountain View, Oakland, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, and San Jose. The organization serves 5,500 individuals annually and provides opportunities to fully address the unique barriers immigrant workers and their families face in realizing the benefits of social, civic, and economic integration.
