Project details
What we need
- An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
- A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
What we have in place
- We currently have fact sheets and statistics about the impact of tobacco, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have brand guidelines, examples of past infographics, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to advocate for important legislation to prevent cancer.
95% of smokers start before the age of 21, we are working to change that with legislation to increase the sale age of tobacco from 18 to 21. This project will highlight the impact of tobacco use in Connecticut and provide a key tool for our staff and volunteers to advocate for this legislation.
Project plan
Our mission
If we are to succeed in our mission to end suffering and death from cancer, it won't just happen in the doctor's office or research lab. This movement must start at the statehouse and in Congress. And, it will be led by volunteers - regular people whose lives have been impacted by cancer - rallying together to demand change from their elected officials.
What we do
We are the organization empowering volunteers to do just that - influence change and impact the future of cancer. From gaining dramatic increases in funding for cancer research to ensuring all Americans have access to cancer care, our work is saving lives and leading to new innovative breakthroughs in how to fight this disease.
