Project details
What we need
- An easily understood visual aid that communicates complex information
- A high-resolution version of the Infographic in the Organization’s preferred format
What we have in place
- Two members of our team, Susan and Anna, wrote a book chapter explaining our marketplace approach and its value to the social impact world. The chapter included lots of visual language that could be used for the infographic. In our definition of marketplace, market-goers (volunteers, philanthropists, social impact investors, and leaders of mission-based organizations) exchange resources (time, money, expertise, and social capital) in order to collaborate on creating social impact. The infographic could be shared on our website, blog, Facebook page, Twitter, Annual Report, and marketing materials.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to continue to provide all our services to our Social Innovators completely for free.
At the Social Innovation Forum (SIF), we describe our work as "a marketplace approach to social change." We use the word marketplace to refer our work in convening the funder and social impact communities, building networks, and exchanging resources to collaborate for social change. However, we have learned that people interpret this word in ways we did not intend them to. An infographic would be a memorable visual to explain our conceptual methods and approach, create more visibility for SIF, and identify us as thought leaders in the social impact world.
