Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Website Construction (CMS-Based)
Project details
What we need
- Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
- Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
- Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details
Our website is currently using an outdate version of Drupal and we need to update to prevent current security and crashing problems. We also would like to modernize the website and make it more secure and mobile phone friendly.
We are open to looking at new platforms (such as Wordpress), so long as they work for us and are easily upgradeable.
What we have in place
- We currently have lots of content ready and a clear idea of what we want, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have volunteers ready to add new content and recycle older content once the upgrade is done, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to use our scarce resources for grassroots activism and suing the bastards!
Our website is our window / showroom to the world. Our website is built on the Drupal platform (version 6) and is currently crashing frequently and not secure. Since upgrading will require rebuilding of all the content, we are currently avoiding new content.
To be ready for several critical upcoming battles this summer, we need to do the upgrade to be able to inform, allow the public to take action, and recruit volunteers and activists.

Our mission
The Arizona Mining Reform Coalition is comprised of Arizona groups and individuals that work to ensure that responsible mining contributes to healthy communities, a healthy environment, and, when all costs are factored in, is a net benefit to Arizona. The Arizona Mining Reform Coalition expects the mining industry to clean up after itself, comply fully with the spirit of safeguards in place to protect Arizona, and to interact in a transparent and open manner with Arizona citizens.
