What we need
- Recommendations for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactics such as link-building campaigns, improvements to website or blog’s architecture, keywords to target within content, as well as proper naming of titles, meta information and images
- Recommendations for implementing a paid advertising campaign of Organization’s choice, such as Pay Per Click (PPC), and advice on how to determine optimal spending on ads
- Training on how to evaluate performance of SEM strategy, as well as how to measure key site metrics
- Note: Google AdWords is one kind of PPC tool
What we have in place
- We currently have a website, an Adwords account, and Google Analytics running, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a dedicated staff member, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to expand our educational outreach efforts for underserved communities throughout the East End of Long Island.
Like most non-profit institutions on the East End of Long Island, visibility on the web is vital to continued growth. Improving our SEO rankings will not only lead to more families enjoying the Museum, but will allow us to ensure we are serving as many people as possible. This is especially important during the summer months, when the East End sees a dramatic increase in visitors and the bulk of our annual revenue is made.

To spark imagination and foster learning for children of all backgrounds and abilities and to build strong connections within the East End community by providing playful experiences.
What we do
We are a community hub for children and families to learn through play. The Children's Museum serves a diverse audience with interactive exhibitions, classes, events and performances for children ages 0 to 9 and their families. In addition, Museum educators travel to social service agencies and community organizations throughout the region to bring programs to underserved families who couldn't otherwise access the Museum's educational resources.
