What we need
- A photographer who will work with the Organization over 1-2 days to capture an important event or shoot a series of photographs to tell the Organization's story
- A set of professionally edited, high-resolution images delivered in JPEG or TIFF format suitable for web or print use
- Note: The photographer needs to be available in the same geographical location as the Organization or be willing to travel at own expense
What we have in place
- This project posting is to photograph a specific event being held on the evening of February 26 2018 in Washington DC. We're looking for about 2 hours of coverage and 50 digital photos It's a great looking space space and 50 registrants are confirmed. The event is a casual happy hour that will give our biggest partners and funders the opportunity to meet our young leaders, executive directors of our affiliate organizations working across the country to empower young voters in 2018.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,048 , allowing us to move money directly into the field and support local youth organizing across the country.
The Alliance for Youth Organizing is a membership network of youth-led progressive community organizations rooted in communities from Miami to Seattle We are deeply devoted to building powerful explicitly youth-led progressive organizations - ensuring institutions exist where young voices have primacy and vesting real hard power in the hands of America's largest and most diverse generation. As an organization by young people and of young people we encounter barriers in expertise and resources. Your time and photography skillset will elevate our work allowing us to break through to new potential funders and partners.
