This project will save us $9,000, allowing us to provide programming at one new school, for a class of 12 young people..

What We Need

  • Analysis of the Organization’s current needs, long-term goals, programs, competitive standing and resources
  • Recommendations for an appropriate course of action to reach the desired objectives, including allocation of resources and how to measure success
  • Plan outlining the resources and steps required to reach short- and long-term goals

Nice To Have

An understanding of the multi-faceted nature of a youth-focused school-based organization.

How This Will Help

The success of our organization depends on a strong team of staff, Board members, students, and schools. Without your help, we cannot choose the best path for organizational growth. Your skills will empower us to take steps to increase our impact with young people.

What We Have In Place

We currently have a former strategic plan & updated organizational informatio which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have notes from a recent full-Board strategic planning session and the ability to provide any other information you need.

Fun Fact

Our most exciting event is the student boat launch, where young people in grades 5-10 launch their hand-crafted boats in the East River. Most students tell us this is their first time in a boat, let alone a sailboat. Yet they overcome their fears and set sail.
