Our mission
The Empire State Sinfonia is a professional symphony orchestra dedicated to developing new audiences for classical music through performance, education and community outreach.
What we do
The Empire State Sinfonia has a variety of programs. We give public concert performances, with a particular emphasis on performing in communities which lack the opportunity to hear live performances of classical music. We are dedicated to education and are developing two programs: young peoples concerts (with several weeks of the concert season dedicated to these performances) and an intensive, experiential after school program for under-privileged students (available free of charge to these students.) We are also passionate about being socially pro-active and will hold 'Emergency Response Concerts,' performances designated to raise money and awareness for charitable causes and the victims of natural disaster, war, famine and other tragic circumstances.
