Salesforce Database Customization
Help Re-use Hawaii create a customized Salesforce database that allows the organization to track donors, clients, beneficiaries as well as manage and analyze large amounts of data.
Salesforce Database Customization
Project details
What we need
- A Salesforce database including: a customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data and field history tracking (up to 15 object types), a customized set of views to allow table-based editing of data (up to 15 views), a customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
- Migration of Organization's current database to Salesforce
- Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
- “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code
What we have in place
- Our current database is not complete however, we do have our Lightspeed point of sale system that could also be migrated to Salesforce. We envision populating some of the data using staff and volunteers after the Catchafire project's process of setting up our Salesforce structure.
How this will help
This project will save us $22,852 , allowing us to streamline our organization and reach the community in more consistent and powerful ways.
We're working to increase our fundraising success and outreach into the community. At this stage in Re-use Hawaii's development, a database such as this will help us get to the next level and make a bigger impact in our community. Since we have been in operation for over a decade, we have a lot of contacts and a clear picture about the ways that we would like to further our connectedness to stakeholders.
