This project will save us $3,750, allowing us to fundraise more money for our pro bono work with awesome nonprofits around NYC.

What We Need

  • Designs for a pre-determined number of marketing or communications materials (examples: one-pager/fact sheets, case studies, fundraising collateral, event invitations, annual reports, and pamphlets).
  • Templates with accurate, print-ready specifications
  • Note: This project does not include printing

How This Will Help

Hello! I'd love help designing an event e-invite for our 20th Annual House Party—CRE's fundraiser for our pro bono work. We need someone to design an invitation to be sent out through Constant Contact that is visually appealing and communicates the purpose of the fundraiser—we can provide you with more details if interested! What We Have In Place

We currently have examples of previous years' invitations, to give you information about the event. But, we would love to get a fresh design to drum up excitement, and welcome new design ideas. This provides a great opportunity for creative license to help us tell the story of this fundraiser and the great organizations that the money raised will help us serve.

We are a nonprofit consulting firm, based in New York. We work with nearly 300 nonprofits every year!

  • Location: Remote (work anywhere)

Project Steps

  • Prep: Distribution of prep materials
    • Volunteer Manager provides the Professional with a budget for print materials, finalized copy, high-resolution logo, and any visual branding guidelines to be utilized
    • Volunteer Manager also provides images for desired deliverables (if applicable), examples of existing marketing materials and links to online presence (website and social media)
    • Volunteer Manager shares Brand Messaging guidelines (if applicable)
  • Milestone 1: Preliminary concepts
    • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss how print materials will be utilized, target audience, and style preferences
    • Professional develops preliminary sketches, and garners feedback from Volunteer Manager
  • Milestone 2: Graphic creation
    • Professional drafts print materials, and incorporates any feedback until final product
  • Milestone 3: Final draft
    • Professional delivers the final versions in the desired electronic format
    • Professional provides guidance on printing specifications (colors, size, etc.)
Prerequisites for Professional
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Proficiency with design software such as Adobe's creative suite
  • Working knowledge of standard printing specifications
  • Portfolio examples you can share
Prerequisites for Organization
  • Finalized copy to include in the materials
  • A high-resolution logo and branding guidelines
  • Budget to produce printed materials
