What we'd like to talk about
We would like to talk about proper IRS filings and withholding for non-resident alien visiting artists who would like to teach at our Art Center.
Additional context
E.g., a Thai ceramist may plan to visit Kona and would like to teach an afternoon workshop while vacationing, but they're traveling on a tourist visa. May we host them and pay them for their instruction? What documents must we obtain, and what filings and withholding must we facilitate?
