What we need
  • Document that articulates in a consistent voice key messages about the Organization’s identity, constituents, mission, and vision
  • Creation of taglines and talking points to help the Organization communicate clearly and concisely
  • Recommendations on tailoring messaging for common communication channels (e.g., website copy, printed marketing collateral, pitching verbally)
Additional details

We could use help in naming our recovery cafe, (working title). The cafe will serve people in recovery, that is people who have completed treatment not in treatment. Our challenge is finding a name that conveys who we serve without sounding like it is a treatment facility.

What we have in place
  • We have page on our website that explains the program. We have a news release that has gone out announcing the program's launch. We have a draft of a "one pager" for use in fund raising. We have an extended document describing the program used to secure grants.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,600 , allowing us to raise 55000 to launch our recovery cafe serving 1,200 people.

This project is new to our company. New to our region in fact. Yet is complicated to explain. We need to be able to communicate/describe the program to grow/get more clients. A second and equally important goal is to be able to communicate the benefits of the program to community partners, business leaders and potential funders. The challenge is overcoming the stigma that the program is for drug and alcohol addicts in recovery. Another challenge is find language that is clear and concise, that gets to the point without using jargon or flowery language.
