What we need
  • Ongoing copywriting support for 15-20 hours over the course of 4 weeks

  • Support may include: email campaigns, website content, brochures, one-pager/fact sheets, or fundraising/promotional materials

  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.

Additional details

We are creating a few campaigns for our marketing team. We have all concepts we just need to start writing scripts emails and social posts for it to be all cohesive.

What we have in place
  • We currently have concepts for our campaigns, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a solid vision, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to effectively communicate to our audience about our last 10 years and our support for the queer community.

This project is important because the campaigns we are creating are for our gala and Pride month.

  • Volunteer Manager provides an outline of current state of copywriting at the organization
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of ongoing copywriting need they have over the next 2-4 weeks
  • Volunteer and Volunteer Manager align on the scope of ongoing support that the Volunteer will provide to address this need

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks

Our mission

Gardeneers cultivates customized school garden programs to ensure each space, and the students and communities who care for it, connect with healthy food and grow to their full potential.

What we do

Gardeneers was created to give Chicago students in food desert communities equal access to healthy
food and food education. We are a team of dedicated Garden Educators who work directly with students in our partner school gardens on a weekly basis. We currently serve 25 partner schools and over 2,200 students each week.

Gardeneers cultivates customized school garden programs to ensure each space, and the students and communities who care for it, connect with healthy food and grow to their full potential.

Gardeneers is the only Chicago-based nonprofit providing full-service, customized school garden programs with on-going support. When schools lack the time and resources to sustain a garden program, we ensure their success.
