Flexible Marketing Strategy Support
Flexible Marketing Strategy Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing marketing strategy support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: defining your marketing goals, determining the right marketing channels, messaging your program, branding, or defining your target audience
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
Develop a communications/marketing plan that raises funds for the sustainability of the Puppet Co. at Glen Echo Park, an award-winning professional puppet theater. In particular, we would like assistance with utilizing our existing donor & marketing lists, finding new contributors, developing a media and marketing plan for reaching our fundraising goals, including branding, strategy, and implementation. We need to launch this fundraising campaign by June 1st, and reach our goal by July 31st.
What we have in place
- Isabel Dawson, Executive Director of the Puppet Co. at Glen Echo Park, and Carol Malinowski, Development Associate for Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture (GEPPAC).
We also have the Puppet Co. / GEPPAC Email newsletter lists and donor lists.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to continue to build puppets, preserve historical puppets, and pay our staff to continue developing new puppet shows.
The Puppet Co. at Glen Echo Park is an award-winning professionally produced puppet theater founded in 1983 that includes puppetry education through classes, workshops, demonstrations, publications and exhibitions. The Puppet Co. is struggling to keep it's doors open. We are at a turning point, and having assistance with this fundraising initiative will support us and keep this unique art form around for future generations.
Project plan
Our mission
The Partnership presents vibrant artistic, cultural and educational offerings at Glen Echo Park and promotes the Park as a unique destination for our region's diverse population. It nurtures a dynamic community of artists and performers while preserving and managing historic facilities within a National Park.
What we do
The Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture, Inc. manages Glen Echo Park, one of the most lively visual and performing arts sites in the Washington, DC area. Each year, 400,000 people come to the Park to renew their creative spirit through arts classes, festivals, exhibitions, dances, children's theater, music performances, nature programs, and more.
Established by Montgomery County, MD in 2002, the Partnership is a nonprofit organization charged with managing Glen Echo Park's arts programs and facilities, including its historic buildings.
The Partnership works with resident artists and organizations to develop distinctive arts programming; operates the historic Dentzel carousel and the Spanish Ballroom; presents an extensive social dance program; produces festivals and special events; conducts fundraising and marketing; and manages and maintains all facilities.
