Compensation Plan
Compensation Plan
Project details
What we need
- Review of job descriptions, pay structure, internal value, competitive market data, non-monetary rewards and benefits
- Recommendations for updating staff compensation and incentive plans
Additional details
We are reviewing and revising our compensation structures and would love to compare them to market data, ensure pay equity, and build clearer pay bands for our team.
What we have in place
- We currently have pay bands, job descriptions, and internal criteria, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have staff time available to discuss and review questions, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,746 , allowing us to focus on critical advocacy campaigns while also improving our internal systems.
We'd like to ensure we're paying folks in line with the market for work like ours and living out our values around equity and stewardship. A strong team will help us be more effective in our policy and advocacy work.

Our mission
The National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC) is an alliance of grassroots organizations that advocates for federal policy reform to advance the sustainability of agriculture, food systems, natural resources, and rural communities. NSAC was founded upon two shared, integrated, and equal priorities. These are:
to support, build, develop, and engage the grassroots of sustainable agriculture for the health and vitality of the sustainable agriculture movement; and
to research, develop, and advocate federal policies relating to farm, food, and environmental issues, appropriations, and implementation to support and advance sustainable agriculture.
