Social Media Content Calendar
Social Media Content Calendar
Project details
What we need
- A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
- A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future
Additional details
lowernine.org operates a weekly food pantry and offers residential construction services in New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward. Our social media is in need of some structure! We'd like to create templates for future posts for volunteer appeals for both programs, notifications for the food pantry (hours of operation, etcetera) and rebuild programs, and a calendar to help us stay on it!
What we have in place
- We currently have instagram, Facebook, and twitter profiles, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have about a million photos, a loose idea of structure/design, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to apply those funds to our regular programming, which will serve our community.
While our organization does great work and has accomplished much, singing our own praises and doing outreach in general has always been a weak spot. We would very much like to do more on our social media, and share our successes and challenges with a wider audience.

Our mission
lowernine.org is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization engaged in the long-term recovery of New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward following Hurricane Katrina and the ensuing levee breaches in 2005. We are also now engaged in meeting our community's food security needs during COVID-19, and will be engaged in that recovery also.
