Project details

What we need
  • A concise, well-articulated letter (not exceeding two pages) to request funds from individual donors
Additional details

My target audience are mainly prospective contributors that look at my emails but never make a financial donation. I need something that can really get to their heart strings that translates to their wallet strings.

What we have in place
  • We currently have many fundraising letters I can share with you that includes quotes from rescues and photos. My website is very detailed obol.info and we have Instagram @obolpaws with lots of success stories and Facebook under Operation Blankets of Love.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,140 , allowing us to do our everyday operations to get the pet items to provide every month to more than 1,000 homeless pets.

We rescue the rescuers. We are like the Red Cross to the animal welfare organizations. They depend on us for food and other life-saving pet items. OBOL is helping so their animals can get healthy, stronger and for their well-being......the end result is they get adopted to be loved which they certainly deserve.

Our mission

Operation Blankets of Love (OBOL) is a unique, nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare emergency and disaster relief organization.

Since 2008 OBOL's mission is to improve the health of homeless animals and increase their chances for survival and adoption. We aim to eliminate animal homelessness and euthanasia.

What we do

OBOL:
-Donates pet food and comfort items to shelters, rescue groups, pets of the homeless, animal transporters, foster caretakers, and wildlife sanctuaries, including during natural disasters.
-Advocates for animal welfare through service-oriented humane education to 100's of children each year.
-Promotes "Adoption is the Best Option."
-Donates pet food and supplies to homeless and low-income pet owners including veterans, the disabled, families, seniors, and people of all backgrounds.
