Project details

What we need
  • A compilation of research on a specific topic (e.g. industry best practices, literature review, media contacts, industry trends, etc.) including a list of sources
  • Recommendations on areas for further exploration/research
  • Note: This project is not designed to be used for prospect or grant research
Additional details

Our organization provides K - 8 students with opportunities to be changemakers in the community through volunteering and advocacy. We are looking for research that helps us make the case that our program also leads to healthier students, schools and communities. We're looking for research that supports this hypothesis. Potential key terms include: social-emotional learning; empathy-building programs; service learning programs; student civics and philanthropy

What we have in place
  • We currently have a case statement, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have former grant proposals, and annual reports, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help

Our mission

Children for Change empowers youth to become global change-makers with the knowledge, confidence, and empathy to make a positive impact in their world.

What we do

C4C offers student-driven curriculum on a variety of topics like climate change, housing inequity, and food justice. Students are engaged in curated volunteer opportunities with local nonprofits where they can apply their classroom knowledge in the real world. C4C students also advocate through letter writing, philanthropy simulations, and by speaking to local elected officials about issues that matter to them. C4C students tap their innate compassion and empathy in order to contribute to a more healthy community for all.
