What we need
  • A 4-week content calendar for one social media platform, including graphics & copy (12-20 posts, or as agreed upon by both parties)
  • A content calendar template that can be used to plan out posts in the future

Hi! We're looking for someone to join our Marketing team and help with creating reels and social media posts leading up to our Earth Week Summit on April 22-27, and beyond if the fit is right. We're looking for somebody who enjoys creating reels from a variety of awesome content, and who would be available to help pull clips from the live summit to create media content for us to post, during and after the event.
If the planet and social media are two of your passions, we hope to hear from you!!

What we have in place
  • We currently have Planable which has all of our social media pages connected, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have graphics, testimonials, sponsors & more to create with, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to secure the necessary platforms to host our 2024 International Climate Action Challenge.

Our Earth Week Summit event helps Green Team Academy build momentum for our upcoming International Climate Action Challenge, which is a 90 day challenge that kicks off in August, and brings in people from around the world who are looking for guidance in launching an environmental project within their community. Sharing Green Team Academy, and our Earth Week Summit event on social platforms helps us to attract those who are looking to make change, as well as those looking to support changemakers.

Prep: Audit & Planning
  • Volunteer Manager shares social media credentials and existing marketing materials with Professional
  • (If applicable) Professional audits existing social media account to determine which content types are performing best
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional discuss & agree upon target audiences, content types, and posting frequency

Milestone 1: Calendar Structure Creation
  • Professional uses Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, or comparable software to set up content calendar structure
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 2: Content Creation
  • Volunteer Manager shares raw materials (photos, quotes, stories, etc) that Professional needs to create content
  • Professional creates up to 4 weeks’ worth of social media posts (approximately 12-20 posts) and inputs into calendar
  • Volunteer Manager reviews and provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

(Optional) Milestone 3: Content Scheduling / Software Setup
  • Professional connects Organization’s social media account to a scheduling software like Buffer or Hootsuite
  • Professional sets up and schedules up to 4 weeks of posts in scheduling software

Our mission

Green Team Academy is an organization that empowers everyday people to be the change by helping them to identify and launch eco-projects. We took a break in 2023 and are now planning for a strong 2024.

What we do

1. Earth Week Summit
We host a virtual summit to showcase grassroots eco-activists from around the world. We feature those who have completed our challenge as well as other community members and experts.
5th Annual Earth Week Summit: April 11-13, 2024

2. International Climate Action Challenge
We host a free challenge to help people launch or expand their eco-initiatives in 90 days. We typically coach about 100 teams from 30+ countries.
4th Annual International Climate Action Challenge: Kicks off August 2024
