Flexible Marketing Strategy Support

What we need
  • Ongoing marketing strategy support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: defining your marketing goals, determining the right marketing channels, messaging your program, branding, or defining your target audience
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

A collaborative group in our community called Human Services Collaborative Council (HSCC) has identified our next initiative to be a PR campaign to send messages about our community needs, provide solutions in an accessible manner (or action items) and make it a sustainable plan or toolkit. We are looking for someone to provide a short (hour long) consultation to help us define this project as a first step.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a variety of data including health and community assessments, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have other data from across all agencies/organizations in HSCC, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to not ask each member organization of HSCC for funding towards this project, and allowing each one of them to utilize those funds on each of their core missions.

The mission of HSCC is to promote the welfare of the Bay County community through planning, intervention, collaboration, and promotion of health and human services.

  • Volunteer Manager provides an outline of current state of marketing strategy at the organization
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of an ongoing marketing strategy need they have over the next 2-4 weeks
  • Volunteer and Volunteer Manager align on the scope of ongoing support that the Volunteer will provide to address this need

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
