What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

I need help telling the stories of our successful programs - with an eye to maximizing donor engagement with our Spring Appeal which we are launching in April!

What we have in place
  • We currently have Great programs, a few photos and we're collecting videos, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have good stories that are inside my head but not yet transcribed, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to Continue our programs for an additional week this spring!!

We provide high quality music instruction and free concerts to underserved populations in our city, the greater metro area, plus in rural areas of the state. There are so many powerful stories of people who have been touched by music, and some of these moments have been quite life changing! But, we've been so focused on program delivery we have hardly been able to share updates with our donors; sharing the stories will help us inspire more donations, which will enable the programs to continue!

  • Professional presents and discusses primary story angle(s) to the Volunteer Manager
  • Volunteer Manager facilitates interviews between Professional and individuals willing to share their story (if applicable)

  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with up to two rounds of feedback
