What we need
  • Analysis of the current process and recommendations for process redesign
  • A document outlining the steps for Finance Process Improvement

I am specifically looking at my process for projecting restricted vs. unrestricted cash-flow.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Spreadsheets currently used to project cash-flow, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have any reports needed from Quickbooks; grant agreements, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,868 , allowing us to have more unrestricted cash to pay for our operations.

The board has asked management to not spend restricted dollars on unrestricted expenses, so it's necessary to know at any given point in time whether the cash in our bank accounts comprises restricted or unrestricted dollars.

  • Professional connects with the Volunteer Manager for a brainstorming/overview session on potential improvements
  • These may take place via phone calls, document sharing, emails, etc.

  • Professional analyzes gathered information and begins a thorough process review

  • Professional provides initial Finance Process Assessment and recommendations for improvement, including clear goals and desired outcomes

  • Volunteer delivers a final document detailing the steps for Finance Process Improvement with analysis of current process and recommendations for process redesign
