Website Copywriting
Website Copywriting
Project details
What we need
- Tightly-written web copy of up to to eight pages of 200-300 words each
- The opportunity to work closely with an experienced, SEO literate copywriter
Additional details
Mission Bit is looking for a volunteer to write 5-8 blog articles for Mission Bit's News section on the website. The blogs would cover Mission Bit's work, DEI in tech, computer science education, and the general tech landscape. We currently have a list of SEO keywords we hope to incorporate into our blogs to drive traffic to our website. You could brainstorm your own blog article ideas or look at our provided list of ideas and pick a few.
What we have in place
- We currently have a list of SEO keywords and blog article ideas, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have reference website copy, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,073 , allowing us to expand our reach to more underserved students across the San Francisco Bay Area and improve diversity in tech.
Mission Bit wants more people to visit our website so they can learn about our work. We also want to get more individuals to donate. Bringing people to our website is the first step to encourage donations. Currently, individual donations are a weakness we are hoping to improve.
Project plan
Our mission
Mission Bit is dedicated to inspiring and empowering students to unlock their full potential. We build professional pathways for under resourced high school youth across the SF Bay Area by making computer science more accessible through our free project-based courses.
What we do
Mission Bit provides free after-school coding courses, workshops, and summer bootcamps to high school students from underserved and underrepresented communities. We offer our students a field trip to a Bay Area tech company, career and college advising related to the technology field, and an opportunity to showcase their group projects to a large community of supporters during our Demo Day event at the end of the term.
Our program's inclusive community fosters positive relationships between students, their peers, and our experienced classroom leaders. Mission Bit brings like-minded individuals together to form long-lasting meaningful connections and gives students all the tools they need to succeed in the tech industry.
