Language proficiency requirements

English and Mandarin Chinese proficiency is required. You will not be able to apply if you do not meet this requirement. Learn more about language proficiency requirements.

Additional details

We are looking for someone to translate eight blog articles for us. These are articles about how to do youth ministry in an Asian American context, and about 15%-30% of our audience is working in an Asian American context, so we want to make more resources available to those who are Chinese speakers.

What we have in place
  • We currently have all the resources selected, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Chinese-speaking committee members who can help proofread, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to invest more in the Asian American community by sponsoring the Asian American Leadership Conference in Orange County, CA this April.

One of our core goals is to help with cross-cultural contextualization in ministry. It's so important to us that we provide resources that can be used for any student in any context so that we can achieve our mission of gospel-centered youth ministry all across the U.S. and beyond.
