Flexible Graphic Design Support

What we need
  • Ongoing graphic design support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: logo design, flyer design, branded assets for social media
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Language proficiency requirements

English and Spanish proficiency is required. You will not be able to apply if you do not meet this requirement. Learn more about language proficiency requirements.

Additional details

Project Open Hand needs support in creating one-page flyers for client education about various topics: how to use a QR code, upcoming nutrition classes, event promotion templates. Also a PPT template for regular use in nutrition classes.

What we have in place
  • We currently have existing Canva, PPT and Word documents with related content, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a team dedicated to developing/maintaining these materials, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to fund staff time to provide nutrition assessments for new clients and fund the food/supplies required to conduct regular food demonstrations in our grocery centers.

This project helps our team operate efficiently in providing education to clients at a scale of over 2,000 clients. These deliverables will help us work towards our mission by allowing us to promote participation in the educational and feedback-based events we host at Project Open Hand.

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
