Flexible Web Development Support

Project details

What we need
  • Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We are looking to overhaul websites for one of our projects.

+Audit website based on needs of the coalition
+Add updates/relevant new information
+Add a page to feature events/scheduling
+Add a press/news section
+Add content expressing narrative and history of coalition
+Add media to site
+Add space for training materials to be uploaded/deatured

What we have in place
  • We currently have policies, historical documents, media, and a working group, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a working group of volunteers and youth to support this proj, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to to pay young people with lived experience stipends to participate in the advocacy, training, and outreach provided by the Philly Homes for Youth Coalition

This will help the Philly Homes 4 Youth Coalition better establish itself in the local community as a source for the unique combination of on the ground lived experience provided by coalition members who are youth and direct service workers, as well as those trained in policy and research. This combined wisdom has the power to improve services and resources for homeless youth in Philadelphia
