What we need
  • Ongoing copywriting support for 15-20 hours over the course of 4 weeks

  • Support may include: email campaigns, website content, brochures, one-pager/fact sheets, or fundraising/promotional materials

  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.

Additional details

We need support with copywriting for our OASIS LinkedIn in order to post monthly Board Spotlights.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a list of the order of board members we wish to highlight, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have each board member's information, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to utilize funds for our programming, aiming to enrich the lives of low- and moderate-income (LMI) youth in the local communities we serve.

We are searching for flexible marketing support to assist in creating content for highlighting OASIS Board Members and having stronger presence on our LinkedIn profile. This support will help our organization achieve its outreach goals, providing LAUSD with the opportunity to be involved in a free arts festival and explore their creative gifts.

  • Volunteer and Volunteer Manager align on the scope of ongoing support that the Volunteer will provide to address this need

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks

OASIS Center International is a 501(c)3 community development organization, working in partnership with both public and private entities to bring art back into the lives of our youth. Established in 2012, the vision of OASIS is to inspire a generation of youth to fulfill the highest level of life achievement possible through discovery and development of their inherent creative gifts. Our mission is to positively impact at-risk youth through a replicable Arts Mentoring Program and to enhance the skills of local artists through community engagement.

What we do

Recognizing the advantageous effects of arts education on both students and society, OASIS is committed to restoring arts and cultural enrichment at the core of communities, and we believe this starts with a focus on the youth, especially those at-risk in underserved areas of the community. OASIS provides students with instruction in a variety of modalities, including architectural design, creative art journaling, film-making, and tap dance.
