Project details

What we need
  • Training on how to create video content for web and specific social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • List of recommendations and best practices for shooting a video
  • Instructions for how to post videos to respective social media platforms
Additional details

I am looking to create short videos - up to 3 minutes each of our homeless client success stories - with their written permission. We want to emphasize how our work has helped them stabilize their life circumstances, teach them life skills and help them obtain affordable housing. I want to use these videos on our agency website, instagram, FB, possibly TikTok and other relevant platforms that I'm not aware of.

What we have in place
  • We currently have a video camera, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have access to clients who are willing to share their stories, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to provide direct care supplies to our clients who are not in a shelter; sleeping bags, tents, hand warmers, boots, coats, hygiene supplies and children's winter clothing.

We are very proud of the work we do in our community, but we need to do better at sharing what we do and who we help. By putting a face and offering a short inspirational story with our viewers will help reduce the stigma around homelessness.
